Aaron Meland is an attorney with Pearson Christensen. Aaron was born and raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota. After graduating from the University of North Dakota, he attended law school in the Twin Cities where he published an article and served as Managing Editor on the Mitchell Hamline Law Review. He also competed in the Rosalie Wahl Moot Court Competition and externed for Judge Mary Vasaly in Hennepin County's Fourth Judicial District.
Following law school, Aaron represented a broad base of clients ranging from multi-line insurance carriers and Fortune 500 corporations to small family-owned businesses in defense of workers' compensation claims. In this role, Aaron learned all the strategies and tactics insurance companies use to dispute and deny workers' compensation claims. This means he knows how the insurance company and its attorneys will look at the case and knows how they will fight against an injured person.
Aaron brings his years of experience as a defense attorney to help injured individuals. He is excited to be able to benefit real people rather than insurance companies and big business.
Outside of work, Aaron enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, or at his lake cabin in Northwest Minnesota.
